Irish 16th Division memorialIrish 16th Division memorial, for 7th June 1917. Soldiers from northern and southern Ireland fought side by side for the first time and successfully took the town of Wytschaete just north of Messines. This is the only memorial to the 16th Irish Division in Flanders, and stands next to the British cemetery to the right.
